Terms of Service

1. The service

twyn.life ("twyn", "the service") is a personal health data platform operated by Oleksii Lazorenko. It aggregates, normalizes, and stores health data that you provide, and exposes that data back to you and to AI tools you choose to connect via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The service ran as a private beta until commercial launch on 6 October 2026, and since then runs as a paid pilot.

2. Not medical advice

twyn is a system of record, not a medical device and not a healthcare provider. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or provide medical advice. Outputs of AI tools you connect to your data are not medical advice either. Always consult a qualified clinician before making health decisions. Do not use twyn for emergencies.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials and access tokens confidential.
• Access tokens you issue (MCP tokens, ingestion tokens) grant read or write access to your data. Treat them like passwords and revoke any token you no longer use.
• One account is for one person's data — your own, or that of someone who has authorized you.

4. Your data

Your data remains yours. By uploading it you grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and display it back to you and to the agents you connect — nothing more. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy. You can request a full export or deletion at any time.

5. Acceptable use

• No attempts to access other users' data or probe the service's security.
• No use of the service to store unlawful content.
• No reselling or white-labeling the service without a written agreement.
• No abusive load (scraping, flooding ingestion endpoints beyond personal use).

6. Pilot status, availability, and changes

The service is provided "as is", without warranties. During the pilot there is no uptime guarantee, features may change or be removed, and although we take backups and care, you should not treat twyn as your only copy of critical medical documents. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Fees & paid plans

The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card. Two paid plans are available from commercial launch on 6 October 2026:

• Connect — $7 per month or $60 per year: external MCP access for AI agents you connect, plus everything in Free.
• Coach — $12 per month or $108 per year: the in-app AI coach, plus everything in Connect. Coach comes with a 7-day free trial (see below).

Prices are in US dollars and include VAT / sales tax where applicable. The Family plan listed on twyn.life as "coming later" is not sold yet. No charge is ever applied without your explicit sign-up for a paid plan.

• Merchant of Record. Creem is the merchant of record for all paid plans: Creem, not twyn, is the seller, runs checkout and payment collection, and issues receipts. Your billing relationship — including any sales tax or VAT — is with Creem, and Creem's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase alongside these terms.
• Billing periods and automatic renewal. You choose monthly or annual billing when you subscribe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period — every month on a monthly plan, every year on an annual plan — and each renewal is charged at the then-current price (see "Price changes" and "Founding-member price lock" below) until you cancel.
• Coach free trial. Coach, monthly or annual, comes with a 7-day free trial. You enter a payment card at checkout and it is verified then, but nothing is charged during the trial; checkout shows the date your first payment is due, and Settings → Plan & Billing shows when the trial ends. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically into the paid Coach plan at the end of the 7 days, and your card is charged for the first billing period of the option you chose. If you cancel during the trial, you keep Coach until the trial ends and you are not charged. There is one free trial per person.
• Cancellation. Cancel any time in either of two ways: signed in, from Settings → Plan & Billing → Manage billing, which opens Creem's customer portal; or without signing in, at twyn.life/cancel, which records your cancellation and confirms it by email. Cancelling stops the next renewal: you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for — the current month, or the current year on an annual plan — and your plan then drops to Free. We never cut off access you have already paid for mid-period, unless you receive a refund (see "Refunds").
• Refunds. If you email hello@twyn.life within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription — including the first payment of an annual subscription — we refund that payment in full. Renewal payments are not refunded, except where the law requires it. Switching plan (Connect ↔ Coach) or billing interval (monthly ↔ annual) within a subscription is not a new first payment and does not start a new 14-day window. Refunds are issued by Creem, as the seller, on the criteria in this clause. A refund ends your paid access immediately rather than at the end of the period, and your plan drops to Free.
• EU/EEA 14-day right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason. A twyn subscription is a digital service, and by subscribing — including by starting the Coach free trial — you expressly ask us to start supplying it immediately, within those 14 days, rather than after they have passed. Withdrawing still costs you nothing: during the Coach trial, cancelling is enough and you are never charged; once you have paid, email hello@twyn.life within 14 days of the subscription's first payment and it is refunded in full under "Refunds" above. Because that refund window runs from the first payment, it never closes before your withdrawal period does.

  You do not have to use the form: simply emailing hello@twyn.life, or cancelling without signing in at twyn.life/cancel, is an equally valid withdrawal.

• Price changes. We give reasonable advance notice before a price change takes effect on your next renewal; continuing your subscription after that point means you accept the new price. The founding-member price lock below is an exception.
• Founding-member price lock. Founding members keep the price they subscribed at for 12 months from their first payment — on an annual plan, the first renewal is charged at that price too — as an exception to "Price changes" above. Founding members are everyone who subscribes to a paid plan during the pilot, that is from commercial launch on 6 October 2026 until twyn's public launch, which we announce in advance, plus beta users who subscribe within 30 days after their complimentary access ends. The lock belongs to that subscription: if it ends — cancelled and expired, or refunded — a later new subscription is charged at the then-current price.
• Complimentary access. Beta users who created an account before commercial launch on 6 October 2026 receive complimentary Coach-tier access for three months from launch. We may also give an account complimentary access to a paid plan for a set number of days. Complimentary access is free and ends on the date shown in Settings → Plan & Billing; after that your account reflects your actual plan — Free, unless you have a paid subscription. While complimentary access is active you can only buy a plan above your complimentary plan (for example Coach while on complimentary Connect); you can subscribe to any plan once it ends. Complimentary access does not pause a paid subscription you already have: if you have both, Creem keeps charging the paid subscription unless you cancel it.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the preceding 12 months (zero, if you are not on a paid plan). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on data or AI outputs.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
