See how it works

twyn keeps your biomarkers, labs, wearables, sleep, HRV, DNA, supplements, immunizations, medical records, nutrition, and notes in one structured record. Three surfaces consume the same data: the human dashboard, the in-app Ask twyn coach, and an MCP endpoint for your external AI agent.

The problem

Your health data is everywhere.Your AI sees almost none of it.

You paid for every one of these datapoints — the labs, the wearable on your wrist, the DNA kit, the supplement stack. And they sit scattered across PDFs, vendor apps, portals, and notes, working for no one.

Uploading files to a chatbot is a workaround, not a system: no continuous sync, no provenance, no trends, no freshness, and no structured timeline.

What AI actually needs

  • Structured metrics, records, and notes
  • Dates, units, sources, and history
  • Queryable by your AI through MCP

A chatbot can read files. It cannot maintain your living health context.

How it works

From scattered files to a queryable record — in minutes.

01

Feed it everything

Drop lab PDFs, connect Apple Health, Oura, or WHOOP, upload raw DNA, dictate a voice note. Every raw file is preserved — nothing is lost to parsing.

02

twyn structures it

AI extraction turns every value into canonical data: units, dates, sources, optimal zones, full history. Lab results wait for your review before they land in trends.

03

Ask anything

Ask twyn on any screen — or paste your personal MCP URL into Claude. Both see the same living record. Both answer about you.

The difference

Built for humans and agents.

Every surface in twyn has an MCP counterpart. If the dashboard shows it, your AI agent can read it in structured form. No screenshots, no copy-pasting, no guessing.

Structured access with provenance and per-user tokens.

Ask twyn

Your data, conversational.

Open Ask twyn from any screen. twyn sees what you're looking at, runs the right tools, and answers in plain language — no copy-pasting into a chatbot, no MCP setup. Writes only happen after you approve.

  • A specialist, not a generalist. Knows that optimal ApoB isn't 'in range', what your APOE variant actually means, and how your supplements interact — not a chatbot guessing from a textbook.
  • Screen-aware. Knows you're on the ApoB card, or your Sleep tab this week — and uses it.
  • Proactive. Surfaces what changed, what's stale, and what to ask your clinician.
  • Acts with consent. Saves notes, updates labs, sets recommendation stances — click to approve.

Optimal — and trending down. ApoB 82 mg/dL (optimal), down from 94 in March.

Two things worth a closer look:

  • Saturated fat averages 18 g/day from your food log — within target, but the upper end.
  • Lp(a) is untested. Worth raising with your clinician at the next panel — it's genetic and changes the picture.

Want me to save a note to ask about Lp(a) at your next visit?

Real prompts from the app

What should I focus on in my labs right now?
What changed in my biomarkers this quarter?
What questions should I bring to my next doctor visit?
Are there any interactions or duplicates in my supplement stack?

Same question. Two answers.

The difference is everything your data already knows.

Same model, same prompt. The only variable is whether it can see your stack. One answer is a textbook. The other is about you.

You ask

I want to start creatine. Any reason I shouldn't?

Chatbot on its own

Creatine monohydrate is one of the most researched supplements and is safe for most healthy adults — usually 3–5 g/day.

A few caveats: if you have any kidney condition, check with a doctor first. It can cause mild water retention early on. Stay hydrated.

Overall, a reasonable choice for most people.

Generic, hedged, knows nothing about you.

Green light — with two things only your data flags:

  • Kidneys are clear. eGFR 98, creatinine 0.95 mg/dL (Apr panel) — the one real contraindication doesn't apply. Start at 5 g/day, skip loading.
  • Heads-up for March labs. Creatine nudges serum creatinine ~+0.1 — don't misread it as kidney decline at your next draw. It's expected.
  • No stack conflict across your 11 supplements, and you're already on electrolytes — the water-retention caveat is moot. Lands straight on your “preserve lean mass” goal.
Want me to log this so the creatinine bump is flagged before your next panel?

Who it is for

Made first for the already-measuring crowd.

If you are just starting your health journey, twyn may feel too detailed today. It is built first for people who already have data and want a durable system of record.

You already run expanded labs.
You wear Oura, WHOOP, Apple Watch, Garmin, or similar.
You track supplements, protocols, and experiments.
You use Claude or other AI tools seriously.
You want a system of record, not another wellness feed.

Pricing

Free while we build it with you.

After beta, twyn splits into two paid surfaces: bring-your-own agent via MCP, or Ask twyn inside the app. A free tier always stays for manual tracking.

Data sovereignty

Your data. Actually yours.

Health data deserves stricter rules than a to-do app. twyn is built so you can leave at any moment — and never has a reason to hold your data hostage.

Isolated by design

Row-level isolation per user. Your AI connects with a personal token — issued by you, revocable by you.

Raw files preserved

Original PDFs and exports are kept unchanged, re-processable forever. Never locked into our parsing.

Full export, anytime

One click in Settings. Complete, machine-readable, yours.

Delete means delete

Account deletion permanently removes your health data. No archives, no “soft delete”.

When AI features run (Ask twyn, lab extraction, note structuring), relevant excerpts are processed by Anthropic or Google under API terms that exclude training on your data.

FAQ

The questions that matter for health data.

What is MCP?+

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude connect to external data sources. twyn gives you a personal MCP URL — paste it into Claude Desktop or claude.ai once, and your agent can read your health data: structured, current, and scoped to you alone.

Can twyn itself answer questions about my data?+

Yes. Ask twyn is a built-in coach: open it from any screen and ask in plain language — "what should I focus on?", "what changed since last quarter?", "is this supplement right for me?". twyn reads your stack through the same tools an external agent would, knows which screen you are on, and writes back (saving notes, updating labs, setting recommendation stances) only after you approve. It runs on Gemini by default for cost and latency, with Anthropic available for premium reasoning.

Do I need to bring my own AI?+

No. Ask twyn is included on the Coach plan — twyn provides the model and absorbs the inference cost. If you prefer to run your own agent (Claude Desktop, Cursor, claude.ai web, Claude Code), the Connect plan gives you a personal MCP URL with the same structured read and write access. Most users start with Ask twyn and add MCP later if they want their agent to handle health alongside everything else.

What is the difference between Ask twyn and connecting my own agent?+

Ask twyn is built in: one click from any screen, screen-aware (it knows you are looking at ApoB, or this week's sleep), streaming, with click-to-approve actions. Connecting your own agent via MCP is for power users who already live in Claude Desktop, Cursor, or claude.ai — your agent gets the same structured access from outside the app, but loses screen context and the inline approval cards. The data surface is identical; the difference is friction and where the conversation happens.

Why not just upload all my documents to a chatbot?+

A chatbot can read a pile of files once, but it does not become a reliable health memory. twyn turns labs, wearables, vaccines, supplements, DNA, notes, and records into a structured source of truth — with dates, units, provenance, freshness, and history — so your AI asks the data instead of re-parsing a messy archive every time.

Where is my data stored?+

In a managed Postgres database (Supabase) with per-user row-level isolation, encrypted at rest and in transit. Raw files you upload — lab PDFs, exports — are preserved unchanged in private object storage, so your data is always re-processable and never locked into our parsing.

Who can see my data?+

Only you, and any AI agent you explicitly connect with your personal access token. Tokens are issued and revoked by you in Settings. When you use AI features (Ask twyn, lab extraction, note structuring), relevant excerpts are processed by Anthropic or Google under their API terms, which exclude training on your data.

What happens when I connect Oura or WHOOP?+

twyn requests only the OAuth scopes needed to sync the wearable data you choose to connect. For Oura, that can include sleep, readiness/activity, heart-rate, workouts, sessions, tags, SpO2, and profile data. For WHOOP, that can include recovery, cycles/strain, workouts, sleep, profile, and body measurements. Provider tokens are stored encrypted, used only for sync, and can be disconnected from Settings.

Can I export or delete my data?+

Yes — your data is yours. In the app, Settings → Privacy & Data lets you download a complete export or permanently delete your account and health data. For anything else, email hello@twyn.life.

Do I need my own AI API key?+

No. Ask twyn and AI-powered extraction are included. If you prefer running on your own Anthropic key (heavy use, custom model, enterprise terms), you can plug it in from Settings — useful for power users on the Connect plan running their own agent.

Which AI tools can connect to twyn?+

Anything that speaks MCP: Claude Desktop, claude.ai web connectors, Claude Code, Cursor, and any other MCP-compatible client. You paste one URL with your personal token and your agent sees your whole stack. The in-app Ask twyn coach does not need any external client — it works the moment you sign in.

Is this medical advice?+

No. twyn is a system of record: it aggregates, normalizes, and exposes your data. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace a clinician. What it does make dramatically better is the quality of conversations you have — with your AI and with your doctor.
